Our first meet for 2024, woohoo! Once again, a bunch of us like-minded hobbyists will be enjoying some time on the rocks with our crawlers. You’re welcome to join us to run some courses and just hang out down in Pakenham in the middle of January.
As always, your safety is your responsibility!
We’ll be on public land and just driving toy trucks together. This is not any kind of official event. Rocks can be slippery. It’ll be hot and possibly wet. If you have a child and/or pet with you, their supervision and safety is completely your responsibility. Please be careful!
We’ll be scoring with Crawler Results, just like last year. This is fast and easy to use on a phone browser (internet connection required) and means we can keep track of multiple courses at once. That means more driving for all of us!

When: Sunday, 14 January 2024, 08:00-16:00 (end time may vary, pending numbers)
Location: Waterford Rise Gardens, 9 The Circuit, Pakenham VIC 3810
Parking is along the street by the rock garden. There are toilets just down the road, a couple minutes walk, at the playground by the lake. Shops and cafes are 5 mins drive away. There are no toilets directly onsite.

Come Prepared:
- There’s a BBQ area with limited shade, but otherwise we’ll be in the summer sun all day.
- Dress for summer, bring sunscreen and especially water. Boots or closed shoes are advisable.
- Shops are a few minutes away by car for coffee, lunch, etc.
- Toilet is 400m down the street, at the playground by the lake.
- There are no bins here. Please carry out what you carry in.
- Lastly, we’re in a public area surrounded by houses. We’ll have signage up for the club. Please be mindful of the locals’ expectation of peace and driveway access.

We’ll be running 6 classes:
MORNING (Performance Scale)
0800 to 0830: rig inspection, driver briefing, incl. scoring intro
0830 to 1100: Performance Scale run 5x courses
LUNCH (Scale-1 & Mini 1.9)
1100 to 1130: Scale-1 inspection & set courses
1130 to 1400: run Mini 1.9 & Scale-1 5x courses
AFTERNOON (Tuff Truck, Sporty & Pro MOA)
1400 to 1430: rig inspection, set TT courses, TT briefing
1430 to 1630: TT & 2.2 rigs run 5x courses
(we’ll have some ‘C1’ gate markers on some of the Mini 1.9 courses, making these 5x courses appropriate for both classes simultaneously).

We’ll try to ensure everyone gets to drive everything they bring. There will be five courses for each class and we’ll run in groups, rotating through the courses. If you’re in doubt about what class your rig/s will suit, ask in the FB group here and/or just turn up on the day. We’ll work it out!
